Lil Toot and the HGA Express a big hit!

After long hours of work on Lil Toot  and the HGA Express by various volunteers, the "train" was on the road again for the first time in several years on Saturday, September 5. The occasion was the Train Station Open House, which attracted more than 50 people to tour the station, while dozens of children road Lil Toot and the HGA Express on the street outside. Delmarva Christian High School seniors, Katelyn Moore and Dianna Kempf were the volunteer "conductors" and made sure the children had a good time and were safe and secure on the HGA Express! HGA wishes to thank Katelyn and Dianna, as well as offer many thanks to Bill Long for constructing the two kiddie cars pulled by Lil Toot. Also, HGA thanks Mayor Bill West, Billie Bradley and the rest of the Georgetown Maintenance staff for getting the Lil Toot engine running smoothly and blocking off the street next to the Tarin Station so the children could enjoy the ride. Lil Toot and the HGA Express will be riding again in the near future, so stay tuned!
